This site is funded by a three year federal
Jacob K. Javits grant for Louisiana’s gifted and talented teachers.
The purpose of this site is to provide online professional development
in the area of gifted education and to encourage professional dialogue
and the exchange of ideas between teachers. Louisiana has
approximately 27,000 students identified as gifted and talented, and
these students are served by over 1,000 teachers.
www.lagifted.com is a secure site that requires a log-on and
password. If you are a teacher of the gifted or the administrator of
a gifted program, and you cannot log-on, please contact Judy McIntyre to obtain log-on rights.
